    -Minor flooding also reported in Kilnwick Percy.
    -Heavy rainfall is forecast today evening in East Yorkshire.
    -No reports of any damage to homes or businesses.
  • Sandstorm in Jordan valley, Israel
    -Sandstorm in Jordan valley cause destruction around 1 million shekels ($266,000).
    -Due to this sandstorm, food prices are expected to rise in West Bank markets.

    People of Manokwari will have felt strong shaking of MMI VI. In Nabire region, light shaking will have experienced.

  • M 4.6 moderate deep earthquake in Libertador O'higgins, Chile (@ 112 km depth) with epicenter located 59 km ESE of Rancagua. Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have experienced by the people of Rancagua, San Rafael and Santiago.

  • M 4.6 moderate shallow earthquake in Guerrero, Mexico (@ 35 km depth) with epicenter located 147 km ESE of Acapulco. Just a weak shaking of MMI II-III will have felt by the people of Acapulco, Chilpancingo and Huajuapan de Leon (Oaxaca), Mexico.

  • Mexico/Popocatepetl recent volcanic activity
    -Heavy plume of ash spewed in the air. Red glowing material was observed near the crater.
    -People near the mountain are said to be "very very attentive". However, no evacuation order issued.
    -Current alert level for the Popocatepetl volcano is five on a seven-level warning scale.
    -Popocatépetl is an active volcano located in the states of Puebla, State of Mexico, and Morelos, in Central Mexico, and lies in the eastern half of the Trans-Mexican volcanic belt.

  • Heavy rainfall and flooding in Balochistan, Pakistan
    -Heavy rainfall is forecast in Balochistan, Pakistan today.
    -Strong gusty winds may cause the situation worse. Localized flash flood will be common.
    -Coastal areas of Balochistan and adjoining Sindh coast including Karachi will be also affected.
