Dust storm in Kuwait renders low visibility; source kuwaittimes

• Sandstorm in Failaka Island, Kuwait
  -About 277 people evacuated from Failaka Island following the sandstorm and bad weather condition
  -Horizontal visibility is drop below 300 meters in most of the areas of Kuwait
  -Medical and emergency teams on the Island to treat those suffering from asthma and blood pressure.

• M 3.1 weak shallow earthquake in Northern Italy (@ 2 km depth) today with epicenter located just below Ala. Weak shaking will have felt as far as Trento

• M 4.0 moderate shallow earthquake in Georgia (@ 2 km depth) with epicenter located 10 km N Tsalka. Weak shaking will have felt as far as Tbilisi

• M 4.6 moderate shallow earthquake strikes Bangladesh (@ 16 km depth) today with epicenter located 5 km NE Narayanganj. The earthquake has struck in a very highly populated area in the Dhaka Province. Light to weak shaking will have experienced by the people of Dhaka

• Tropical Cyclone Lua
  -As at 11.00am the Bureau of Meteorology advises Tropical Cyclone Lua was estimated to be 65 kilometres north of Wiluna moving south at 35 kilometres per hour
  -A cyclone warning issued for far north Queensland
  -The bureau released a cyclone warning for coastal and island communities from the border of Queensland and Northern Territory to Cape Keerweer on the Gulf of Carpentaria
  -Flooding closed Bruce Highway at Giru, south of Townsville
  -The current heavy rain band was located between Proserpine and Carmila
