Deadly storms in Maryland-A state of emergency declared

-Two people reported to be killed in storms in Maryland. A 71-year-old woman died after a tree fell on her home in Montgomery County and other in southern Anne Arundel County where a man died when a tree crashed onto the car he was driving.
-A state of emergency declared in Maryland.
-Following Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, it will take at least a week to get power fully restored.

-The storm disaster was called a derecho. Derechoes are large clusters of thunderstorms that produce widespread wind damage, usually as a result of one or more curved lines of thunderstorms known as bow echoes which are the most active during the late spring and summer.
-At least 13 people killed by violent storm and heat in New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Tennessee, Ohio and Kentucky of United States. Altogether more than 3 million people are left without power.
-More powerful storms are expected in the next 24 to 36 hours in Maryland.
