• M 6.8 extremely dangerous earthquake (@ 20 km depth) stucked today in Negros - Cebu Region, Philippines (Visayas) with epicenter located  8 km E Malusay and 9 km E Guihulngan. It is extremely dangerous earthquake and huge damage is expected. Heavy Damage to life and property confirmed.Cebu is a province in the Philippines, consisting of Cebu Island and 167 surrounding islands. It is located to the east of Negros, to the west of Leyte and Bohol islands. Video aside shows panicked people rushing out of building in Cebu, Philippines. • M 6.8 extremely dangerous earthquake (@ 20 km depth) stucked today in Negros - Cebu Region, Philippines (Visayas) with epicenter located  8 km E Malusay and 9 km E Guihulngan. It is extremely dangerous earthquake and huge damage is expected. More than 207,000 people will have felt very strong shaking of MMI VII.   Mildred Phillips from Hemet: Approximately 1:05 - 1:10 PM the livingroom windows rattled and shook hard in my Hemet CA home: zipcode 92545..A truck did nto drive by to cause the shaking. However, I usually fell the shake, and this time I did not feel it, whatever it was.
• M 4.5 moderate deep earthquake in Potosi, Bolivia (@ 173 km depth) with epicenter located 133 km WSW of Tupiza, Bolivia. Just weak shaking will have felt

• Cameroon/Cameroon Recent volcanic Activity
  -Mount Cameroon, a volcano in the country’s southwest region, sent ashes and flames into the air in a brief explosion
  -The explosion at Cameroon lasted a couple of seconds and lightly injured two among the porters and guides on the mountain
  
• Indonesia/Semeru Recent Volcanic Activity
  -Increase in Volcanic activity observed in Semeru
  -ALERT level 3

Recent Flood Update

• Heavy flooding in Australia (Daily update)
  -StGeorge flood levels at 13.7m and still rising. It is expected to peak sometime tomorrow over 14m
  -Dirranbandi flooding at 5.2m, expected to reach 5.4m
  -Mitchell two main bridges have sustained damaged, and work is continuing to ensure their safety
• Flooding In Bulgaria
  -Dam collapsed (Ivanovo reservoir)
  -The village of Bisser, near the Greek border flooded
• Flooding in Greece
  -Four streams overflooded
  -In some houses of western Greece the water has risen up to 70 centimeters

Recent Cyclones

• Tropical cyclone JASMINE-12 active. Population affected by Category 1 (120 km/h) wind speeds or higher is 25000. Tropical storm Jasmine is forecast to strike Vanuatu as a tropical cyclone at about 02:00 GMT on 8 February. GREEN ALERT

Other Disasters

• Five provinces in Thailand declared as drought areas. The drought areas cover 1,413 villages in 45 districts of Kamphaeng Phet, Lamphun and Sukhothai province in the North, Loei in the Northeast and Chanthaburi in the East
  
• Fire in Philadelphia injured seven people. Three firefighters also injured
• Severe storm reported in Melbourne, Australia. several people injured by falling tree branches
