- M 4.4 moderate very shallow (@ 5 km depth) earthquake felt in Spain (W SIDI BEL ABBES.ARG) today with epicenter located just 6 km NW Huesa (Quesada, Spain). It will have well felt in Jódar and Jaén region of Spain too. The epicenter is located 56 km NE of Granada, Spain EARTHQUAKES WITH LESSER MAGNITUDE CAN BE EXPECTED IN THIS REGION AGAIN. Thanks to Mary Markstrom who writes "Disaster Report" using contact form as, "we live in the small village of Hinojares about 25 kms from huesa. The whole house shook for about 30 seconds. It was very scary but there doesn't seem to be any damage. I hope there won't be any more"

Jaen: I've felt the earthquake in the city of Jaen, tables and cupboards have wavered scale. A vibration soft but clear. - M 4.9 moderate earthquake in New Britain Region, Papua New Guinea (@ 43 km depth) with epicenter located 39 km ESE of Kandrian, New Britain, PNG. It will have well felt above the epicenter. It will have faintly felt as far as Port moresby

14:52 UTC (local time Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 09:52 AM @ epicenter) - M 3.5 shallow (@ 1 km depth) earthquake in Pyrenees with epicenter just below Agnos. It will well felt in Oloron-sainte-marie, Pamplona and Agnos region of Pyrenees (Agnos, France). Pyrenees is a range of mountains in southwest Europe that forms a natural border between France and Spain.
06:03 UTC (local time 07:03; 2012/1/31 @ epicenter) - M 3.6 weak but very shallow (@ 2 km depth) earthquake in Albania (Rrapun-Zdrajsh) with epicenter located just 29 km NE Elbasan. It will have well felt in Librazhd and Elbasan region of Albania. Elbasan is one of the largest cities in Albania

Tirana: My mirror shook, my grandma in the room next to me woke up, my sisters and my bed both swayed but we were not asleep, it didn't scare me but i was alarmed
Tirana: Well, the bed did shake, it took me a bit to realize what was happening, but i think it lasted about 4-5 seconds. - M 3.7 shallow(@ 10 km depth) earthquake in Iran with epicenter located just 30 km SE Qom. It will have well felt in Qom region. The epicenter is close to Salt lake.
